  1. FULLPAGE.SYS
  2.  
  3. You use the FULLPAGE.SYS scanner driver with the Complete 
  4. PC FullPage Scanner.
  5.  
  6. The FullPage scanner is not entirely programmable from the 
  7. program. It has switches you can use to vary resolution and 
  8. halftone patterns. The resolution you set in the program 
  9. must match the resolution you set on the scanner. You can 
  10. vary brightness with the scanner's slide switch.
  11.  
  12. To manually add the device driver to your CONFIG.SYS, use a text 
  13. editor to type the entry as it appears below. Be sure to 
  14. include a path if the scanner driver is not in your root directory. 
  15. Remember to include additional parameters when necessary.

  17. CONFIG.SYS entry:

  21. Available port addresses and the parameters you should add 
  22. to your CONFIG.SYS:

  24. Port 3E0H       The default for this scanner. Add the parameter
  25.                 /H3EO to your CONFIG.SYS.
  26. Port 3A0H       Add the parameter /H3A0 to your CONFIG.SYS.
  27. Port 360H       Add the parameter /H360 to your CONFIG.SYS.
  28. Port 320H       Add the parameter /H320 to your CONFIG.SYS.
  29. Port 2E0H       Add the parameter /H2E0 to your CONFIG.SYS.
  30. Port 2A0H       Add the parameter /H2A0 to your CONFIG.SYS.
  31. Port 260H       Add the parameter /H260 to your CONFIG.SYS.
  32. Port 220H       Add the parameter /H220 to your CONFIG.SYS.

  34. Available DMA Channels and the parameters you should add to your
  35. CONFIG.SYS:

  37. DMA Channel 1   Add the parameter /C1 to your CONFIG.SYS.
  38. DMA Channel 3   The default for this scanner. Add the parameter
  39.                 /C3 to your CONFIG.SYS.

  41. Settings supported by this scanner:

  43. Brightness      Set on scanner, continuously variable
  44. Contrast        Not supported by scanner
  45. Colors          B&W only
  46. Halftones       Bayer, Mesh, and Spiral patterns 
  47.                 in 4x4 and 8x8 sizes
  48. Resolutions     300x300, 200x200
